Wide elastic has long been more than a hidden functional element. In dress belts, sports sets and workwear it is a visible detail that both holds the shape of the garment and shapes its look. Its stability and stretch make it an important part of both the construction and the design.
Wide elastics from 10 to 20 cm are made in two main types – woven and knitted. All models are produced to a European standard from fully safe materials and are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
Woven or knitted – how to choose
Wide woven elastic (Woven Elastic)
- denser, more stable and extremely strong
- hardly loses its shape with washing and prolonged use
- gives a professional, high-end finish

Wide knitted elastic (Knitted Elastic)
- softer, more stretchy and more comfortable

Widths and packaging
Standard widths are 10 cm, 12 cm, 15 cm, 18 cm and 20 cm. Intermediate sizes can also be made on request. All elastics are supplied on 25-metre rolls.
Colours and customisation
Wide elastic can be produced in:
- white, black and ecru
- red, burgundy and pink
- blue, navy and green
- yellow, orange, purple and brown
- neon colours
- special corporate shades to Pantone
The large colour base allows an exact colour match to a sample or to a Pantone code.
